What is the condition of the art?

All pieces are vintage and pre-owned. We carefully inspect and photograph each work to accurately represent its condition, including any age-related wear, fading, frame wear, or minor imperfections. These characteristics are inherent to vintage art and are not considered defects. Condition details are noted in each listing to the best of our knowledge.

Can I get more photos before purchasing?

Absolutely — and we encourage it! We're happy to provide additional photos, detail shots, or information about any piece. Just contact us via the inquiry form before placing your order.

How accurate is the provenance and attribution information?

All information regarding artist attribution, date, origin, and provenance is provided to the best of our knowledge based on available research, visual inspection, and any documentation that accompanied the piece. Unless explicitly stated with supporting documentation, we cannot guarantee authenticity or attribution. If you have specific questions about a piece, please reach out before purchasing.

What if the piece looks different than expected?

We work hard to accurately represent every piece through detailed photography and honest descriptions. Because all pieces are vintage and one-of-a-kind, we encourage you to ask questions and request additional photos before purchasing. Please review our return policy for information on eligible returns.

What to do if I don’t receive my purchase?

Once your order is placed, you will receive a tracking number for your shipment. If you have difficulties locating your package, please email us at ruedesmusesart@gmail.com.

What if my art arrives damaged?

Please retain all packaging and contact us immediately via the inquiry form.

Do you accept returns?

If you are not completely happy with your purchase, you have seven days from receiving the item to return it for a full refund (minus the cost of return shipping). Do you offer a trade discount?

Yes, we are happy to work with members of the design trade. Please contact us via the inquiry form to set up a trade account.

Do you charge sales tax?

Texas residents will be charged sales tax on their purchase. For tax-exempt purchases, a Texas resale tax certificate must be presented prior to purchase.

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes. Please complete an inquiry form for a quote for delivery outside the United States.
